Level 1-2
Part of our Yamas and Niyamas Vinyasa series. You will be encouraged to notice how you feel and do what is right for you throughout this well rounded and steady vinyasa class. Strengthening through the core and the shoulders and opening through the full body. Finishing with a chance for an inversion. Variations and options always given and ending with a peaceful savasana.
The Yamas and Niyamas, are a traditional yogic set of guidelines and practices for ‘right living’. This Yama is being taken to mean right use of energy. To elaborate, this is thinking about using our energy leading us to our higher selves. Most people spend a lot of energy worrying, feeling stressed and people pleasing. However, in order to use our energy in the right way we have to listen and take what we need, putting our energy into positive thoughts rather than negative ones.

"Don't push yourself too hard in class. Always listen to your body and what it needs. Stop if you are in pain. Make sure you have a safe open place to practice and that you consult a health professional for advice on injuries, conditions or illness."
