YOGA FOR WINTER | VINYASA
AYURVEDA | YOGA • 20m
Level 1-2
w/ LAURA
20 mins to energise, enliven, motivate, as well as ground body and mind. Ayurveda recognizes winter as a Kapha season with strong Vata undertones. It is characterized by cold weather and a slow feeling that sends many animals into hibernation. These are all qualities shared by Kapha dosha, which is why winter is considered mostly to be a Kapha season. This full body dynamic Vinyasa will build heat in the body through activating our core and Agni, our inner fire, to counteract Kapha. We will also ground through using a steady rhythm of breath and pattern of standing postures to steady our Vata energy.
Equipment: Optional 2 Yoga Blocks + a Bolster/ cushions
