YOGA FOR SCIATICA | RELEASE
BEGINNERS | YOGA • 32m
Level 0-1
w/ LAURA
Sciatica can be caused by overused and underused muscles, compression, damage or injury to the Sciatic nerve. However, we can help relieve discomfort by gently stretching and strengthening through the back, hips and hamstrings. This class focuses on mindfully and gently opening and strengthening these areas through a steady and calming yoga session. Please be especially mindful when compressing the Glutes and Hamstrings and be very careful not to overstretch these areas.
Laura is the Founder of The Yoga Class and an experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher. Her aim is to empower her clients to unfold this transformative practice for body and mind. Expect innovative, playful yet supportive classes focusing on developing strength, mobility, flexibility and form with a strong focus on calming the mind though the breath. Laura’s classes combine hours of training, learning and teaching to create a sustainable, nourishing and enjoyable method for classes. Laura is a contributing writer to SheerLuxe and Om Yoga Magazine with clients such as Chiltern Firehouse, Mortimer House, Net a Porter and Annabel’s London.
"Please make sure you have had your Doctor's sign off and you are safe and well to practice yoga. Don't push yourself too hard in class. Always listen to your body and what it needs. Stop if you are in pain. Make sure you have a safe open place to practice and that you consult a health professional for advice on injuries, conditions or illness."
