This class works thorough postures to open through the hips and hamstrings and closes off our senses to the world, letting go of the day, breathing with gratitude and then letting it all go. This Yin class, holding postures for up to 4 or 5 minutes, works into deep relaxation and release, letting the body surrender, soften and let go, finding a relaxing transition to sleep. Yin Yoga is also a brilliant way to work into sustainable flexibility, and find the more meditative side of the practice.
Equipment: Bolster or Cushions, 2 Yoga Blocks and a Blanket

"Don't push yourself too hard in class. Always listen to your body and what it needs. Stop if you are in pain. Make sure you have a safe open place to practice and that you consult a health professional for advice on injuries, conditions or illness."
