Yoga Nidra, 'conscious sleep', is a guided meditation form. It is a practice that induces brainwave patterns associated with ‘rest and digest’ element of the central nervous system, allowing a state of effortless non-doing. Focus is given to the breath throughout as well as other tools to induce sleep naturally, to fully restore, connect to and within the body, nourish and soothe. Practice this lying down or in any position to bring meditation into napping. Let yourself de-focus as well as letting your attention ebb and flow naturally.
Laura is the Founder of The Yoga Class and an experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher. Her aim is to empower her clients to unfold this transformative practice for body and mind. Expect innovative, playful yet supportive classes focusing on developing strength, mobility, flexibility and form with a strong focus on calming the mind though the breath. Laura’s classes combine hours of training, learning and teaching to create a sustainable, nourishing and enjoyable method for classes. Laura run global luxury retreats, is a contributing writer to SheerLuxe and Om Yoga Magazine, and works with clients such as the Mandarin Oriental, Six Senses and Amex.
