This mediation gives a focus to setting our intention, our ‘Sankalpa’ in yoga, from a place of worth, rather than not feeling good enough. You will be guided to find a calm and clear mind and encouraged to sit with yourself, noticing the deepest parts of yourself, so you can set your intention from the right place. It is also good practice to revisit and reset your intentions throughout the year. When you need a fresh perspective or as your focus changes, your intentions can then adapt. This method helps keeps motivation levels up, promotes balance and a healthy and positive relationship with ourselves.
Laura is the Founder of The Yoga Class and an experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher. Her aim is to empower her clients to unfold this transformative practice for body and mind. Expect innovative, playful yet supportive classes focusing on developing strength, mobility, flexibility and form with a strong focus on calming the mind though the breath. Laura’s classes combine hours of training, learning and teaching to create a sustainable, nourishing and enjoyable method for classes. Laura run global luxury retreats, is a contributing writer to SheerLuxe and Om Yoga Magazine, and works with clients such as the Mandarin Oriental, Six Senses and Amex.
