BACK RELEASE w/ ROLLER | PILATES
PILATES • 20m
Level 2
w/ TAYLOR
A short restorative Pilates class to find true release through the neck, upper and lower back, whilst also working gently into the core. The props used in this class are to aide the release through the fascia in the back body. Please note that this class is designed to be done with a 90cm foam roller, but most of the class can be done with a yoga block or a thin bolster instead.
Equipment: best with a 90cm smooth foam roller or alternatively a thin bolster or yoga block
Taylor is a STOTT Pilates trained instructor in both mat and reformer, with a background in Dance and Gymnastics. She uses classical moves with modifications, to target the core muscles that help with better posture and improve spinal mobility and strength. Her classes are challenging yet fun and aim to leave you feeling strengthened, lengthened, and lean.
"Don't push yourself too hard in class. Always listen to your body and what it needs. Stop if you are in pain. Make sure you have a safe open place to practice and that you consult a health professional for advice on injuries, conditions or illness."
